Introducing Wellhub: Check In Members, Get Paid Automatically

Big news for LegitFit studios and gyms: we've just launched a native Wellhub integration, and it's now live inside your LegitFit account.

If you're not familiar with Wellhub (formerly Gympass), it's one of the largest corporate wellness platforms in the world. Millions of employees get access to gyms, studios, and fitness classes through their employer's Wellhub subscription — and Wellhub pays participating venues per visit. It's a proven way to bring new members through your door without spending a cent on acquisition.

With this integration, there's no separate app to juggle, no manual reporting, and no spreadsheets. Wellhub check-ins now happen right where you already manage your sessions: your LegitFit Calendar.

How It Works

Here's the entire workflow, from booking to payout:

1. Go to your Calendar and find the session the Wellhub member booked into.
2. Find the Wellhub member in that session's booking list.
3. Select the red button next to their name to mark them as attended.

That's it. The button turns into a green check, and LegitFit automatically sends the confirmation to Wellhub — no extra steps, no third-party dashboard.

One thing to note: the green check confirms the check-in was sent, but it only fully validates for payment once the member has also checked in on their Wellhub app. If they haven't done that yet, you'll see an error — simply follow up once they've checked in on their end.

Why Confirming Every Check-In Matters

This is the part we want every team to get right: Wellhub pays you per confirmed check-in.

If a Wellhub member attends a session and you don't mark them as attended in LegitFit, Wellhub has no record that the visit ever happened — which means no payout for that visit. There's no backend syncing or catching up later; the confirmation is what tells Wellhub the session took place.

A couple of things to build into your front-desk or instructor routine:

• Confirm attendance for every Wellhub member, at every session. Treat it as a standard part of closing out class, the same way you'd mark general attendance.
• You have a 20-minute window from the moment the member checks in on the Wellhub app to validate it in LegitFit. Confirming promptly — right after the session, or even during it — is the safest habit to build.

Missing that window is the single most common (and most avoidable) reason venues leave Wellhub revenue on the table. The fix is simple: make the red-to-green check part of your session close-out, every time.
